Last Friday saw the 2012 AGM of Birdwell Wheelers held at Birdwell Community Centre. 15 members and 1 prospective member were in attendance.

 

Club officials were elected as follows:

Club President: Christine Minto

Chairman:         Steve Myatt

Secretary:         Malcolm Wilson

Treasurer:         Dave Wingfield

 

The club’s calendar of competitive events was agreed as was the year’s social events.

New Year’s Day saw the annual running of Calder Clarion’s 5 mile timetrial at Heath West Yorkshire. Birdwell Wheeler Paul Heggie completed the course in 18m 16s which was good enough to place him 7^th of the 14 strong field. The winner was Jonny Croston of the home club in 15m 51s.
